The Stockholm Junior Water Prize(SJWP)
is the most prestigious international youth award for a high school
water science research project. Its purpose is to increase students'
interest in water-related issues and research, and to sensitize
them - as future leaders - to global water challenges. Junior High
and High School students with water related science fair projects
who enter state or regional science are eligible to compete. State
winners can progress to the national competition. CSWEA will support
one candidate from state or regional science fair competitions for
each state section. The support includes airfare for the competitor
and a companion to the national competition. Additional expenses at
the national competition are covered by WEF.
