You are cordially invited to join the CSWEA Resource Recovery & Energy (R2E) Committee for our quarterly all-members meeting on Tuesday, October 20th at noon (agenda attached). The meeting will feature a guest speaker, David Ponder, Principal of Eddyline Solutions. David will discuss the evolving state of greenhouse gas quantification for wastewater utilities, drawing on his work with WRF Project 5188 and the Water Sector Carbon Emissions Reporting (WSCER) tool. The presentation will cover the shift from default emission factors toward site-level measurement of nitrous oxide and methane, and how improved quantification can help utilities prioritize practical mitigation efforts. David is a former chair of the WEF Greenhouse Gas Subcommittee.
