Thursday, September 24, 2026 | 3pm - 6pm
Start & end at Broken Clock Brewery – 1712 Marshall St NE Suite 100, Minneapolis, MN 55413

Join the Minnesota Stormwater Committee as we take a tour up and down the Mississippi River in northeast Minneapolis and learn about one of Mississippi Watershed Management Organization’s strategic focus areas: the shoreline of the Mississippi River.

Learn why the MWMO prioritizes shoreline projects that provide the best opportunities to improve the quality of stormwater discharging into the river, mitigate industrial usage, restore habitat, and reinforce connections to the river.

You will participate in a guided 6-mile bike tour on the streets and bike trails up and down the Mississippi River and through several parks along the river. Along the way, we’ll explore the land-use history of the river-adjacent lands above St. Anthony Falls (the Above the Falls region) and recent multi-agency collaborations to restore and reconnect the area.

Please bring your own bike and helmet. This event and tour will rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
